Recommendations...
 Hello Ian, Just thought I'd share some recent successes with you. I have
managed 28 barbel so far with my best 2 Kennet fish of 10lb 14oz and 11lb 11oz
and followed that up with a 13lb 1oz fish from another venue. I have realised
over the last couple of months one of the major benefits of owning one of your
rods: they are so sensitive in the tip. Every knock, tap and tremble is
registered and I am beginning to recognise the tell tale indications that mean
the barbel are in the swim and foraging. You can't put a value on that. It's
made a huge difference to my fishing. Then of course you have the playing
qualities. It bends right through to the butt. The reserves of power are just
phenomenal. I think I could stop a hippo with one of these. Admittedly you don't
get many hippo's in the south, but when I venture on to the Limpopo, it will
come in handy. What amazes me though is how a rod can have such tremendous power
and yet be so sensitive. The finish is excellent and the build quality is second
to none. I can't thank you enough.

Thanks Ian, the rods
are absolutely great, terrific action and superbly
finished. Although I bought the Torrix's for barbel I couldn't wait for the
16th June so tried out the 1.75 TC on carp fishing session with Bob James.
We were particularly impressed with the action, the tip easily keeps up the
tension then the power in the mid/butt section can pile on the power when the
fish runs and surges. Two best fish 20lb 8oz and 22lb 13oz commons. Thanks also
for your attention to finish details and friendly, helpful service.

Hi Ian, I'd like to just thank you for the awesome Harrison Torrix rods you built
for me. Not only are they stunning, they're perfect. I'm over the moon
with them. Seems the fish like them too as I've been tearing my water apart recently -
topped by a 9.04lb tench and two carp: 23.11 lb and 25.10 lbs.
Thanks again, and no doubt I'll be in touch soon to treat myself to some
matching spod/marker rods...

After shopping around for two new barbel rods I chose Ian Tucker to build 2
custom Torrix rods. After some very helpful and sound advice from Ian I went for
both the 1.75lb and 2lb tips with upgraded Fuji rings. I was able to select
exactly the handle, reel seat and whippings I wanted, with seemingly nothing
being too much trouble. Ian kept me updated on the status of my rods through the
whole process and when they arrived after only a few weeks they looked
fantastic. Having used them now for a few months the feel and performance of the
rods when playing a fish is really great and I am still delighted with my
choice. If you’re in the market for a custom rod I would strongly recommend that
you talk to Ian.

Ian... Yes the rod has arrived today and your work really does exceed my expectations,
it is superb! All I need now is for the floodwater levels to drop by 4 metres.
